Enjoy breakfast aboard a private train from Toronto’s Union Station as we travel to one of Canada’s notable vineyards at the award-winning Tawse Winery, nestled in the gentle slopes of their 32-acre vineyard, where we will all pretend that we’re wine makers for a few hours! The Children’s Advocacy Foundation will use the funds for the following immediate objectives:
- By 2009, six new pre-schools will be established in the project target areas.
- During the implementation period, services of nutrition and healthcare programs for students will be delivered.
- During 2009 and 2010, awareness of Children’s Rights and educational program will be implemented through media programs and community meetings.
- By 2010, ten deep wells will be dug for communities.
- By 2010, eye examination and treatment will be conducted for elderly in target area.
The evening was spectacular and sold out 6 weeks prior. The food and wine were savoured by all the guests. Guest Chef Didier Leroy outdid himself with the Foie Gras matched with the Chateau Suduiraut. Wines included were “S”Suduiraut, Chateau Petit Village, Chateau Pibron, Chateau Pichon-Longueville Baron and Disznoko Tokaji Aszu 6 Puttonyos. Congratulations to all involved with the organization.
