About Us

Grapes for Humanity Canada raises funds to benefit global humanitarian causes with the support of the international wine community. Through wine tastings, auctions, dinners and other wine-related functions, we direct proceeds from these events to those in need.

Grapes for Humanity has helped Hurricane Katrina victims re-settle in Texas through Community New-Start and have provided funds to construct and enable on-going support to Vida Nueva Clinic, a prosthetic outreach center in Choluteca, Honduras.

In order to transport landmine victims and war wounded to the Angola Regional Rehabilitation Program to be treated and cared for, Grapes for Humanity has provided funds to purchase two vehicles equipped with a Codan radio System. We have provided ambulances for land mine victims in Nagorno-Karabakh and Cambodia; subsidized farms for the Cambodian Children's Advocacy Foundation and aided victims of the devastating Haiti earthquake.

At Grapes for Humanity we focus on providing funding to those who have yet to be helped by the major relief agencies. And we are strong on physical rehabilitation and education. Recently we have earmarked funds to build schools in Guatemala, and rebuild a children’s clinic in the Philippines. While we continue to support our initial mandate of clearing land mines around the world through organizations such as HALO, we are endeavouring to break the cycle of poverty by supporting orphan children as they pursue their dreams of a University education in Phnom Penh.

With your help, and in association with the wine community, Grapes for Humanity Canada will continue to change the way things are for so many people around the world and create opportunity, optimism and success where it is needed most. And while we’re at it... we’ll raise a glass to toast a better world.

Grapes for Humanity Canada raises funds through wine events including dinners, wine tastings and wine auctions for a variety of causes around the world. Founded in 2001, our foundation’s initial emphasis was to help victims of landmines by building clinics, purchasing ambulances and prosthetics and training specialists for global communities impacted by civil strife.

The focus of Grapes for Humanity Canada has expanded to embrace those in need as a result of natural disasters, economic hardship and children at risk. The foundation is particularly interested in the welfare and education of children in the Third World.

Through our partners we direct event proceeds to those in immediate need.

With our support, individuals become self-sufficient citizens who go on to lead fulfilling and productive lives. We pride ourselves on the fact that all funds raised go directly to our partner organizations.

Grapes for Humanity is an organization that is run by volunteers.
